  • Class hours: 24 hours per week (20 hours per week during Term 1)

  • Class duration: Typically held Monday to Friday between 08.00 - 19.00 excluding bank holidays. However, there may be instances where classes need to be held outside these times due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Award: Certificate of Higher Education (FHEQ Level 4) from NCUK.
  • Course options:
    • Standard (3-term, 9-month programme)
    • Extended (Contains an additional term(s) of English language.)

Entry requirements

Standard

  • Academic requirements: Successful completion of A-levels, a recognized Foundation, the first year of an overseas university degree or equivalent with good grades. Applicants must have a minimum of GCSE grade 4/C in Mathematics or equivalent.
  • English language requirements: UKVI IELTS 5.5 (with a minimum of 5.5 in writing and reading) or equivalent.
  • Age requirements: 17 years and above. All students commencing courses on a published September start date must be 18 years old by 31 December of that calendar year. For all other start dates, students must be 18 years old by 31 December of the preceding calendar year.

Extended

  • Academic requirements: Successful completion of A-levels, a recognized Foundation, the first year of an overseas university degree or equivalent with good grades. Applicants must have a minimum of GCSE grade 4/C in Mathematics or equivalent.
  • English language requirements: UKVI IELTS 5.0 (with a minimum of 5.0 in all subskills) or equivalent.
  • Age requirements: 17 years and above. All students commencing courses on a published September start date must be 18 years old by 31 December of that calendar year. For all other start dates, students must be 18 years old by 31 December of the preceding calendar year.
