English for Internationals

Any international adult can learn English at English for Internationals!

These are our most comprehensive student programs and are offered to students studying in the US on an F-1 Student Visa. This program includes 18-hours of class a week Monday through Thursday. Each term lasts eight weeks.

Our International Student Visa (F-1) Program offers four schedules:

4 Days a Week

Schedule

  • Monday - Thursday
  • 9:00am - 1:30pm
  • 18 hours/week
  • 5 Classes: Listening/Speaking, Grammar, Reading/Vocabulary, Writing and Elective (Levels 1-3)
  • 4 Classes: Listening/Speaking, Grammar, Reading/Vocabulary and Writing (Level 4-7)
  • Students complete 1 level in 8 weeks.

Placement test/Levels

Classes are divided into levels and each student takes a placement test before classes begin to determine their level. Seven levels are offered from Beginner to the Advanced level.

Program of Study

English classes include grammar, reading/vocabulary, listening/speaking and writing. These four skill classes complete the 18-hours required by law for students on a Student Visa (F-1).

Cost

The cost of this program is $1600 USD plus approximately $100 for books.

4 Nights a Week

Schedule

  • Monday - Thursday
  • 5:30pm - 10:00pm
  • 18 hours/week
  • 4 Classes: Listening/Speaking, Grammar, Reading/Vocabulary and Writing
  • Students complete 1 level in 8 weeks

Classes are divided into levels and each student takes a placement test before classes begin to determine their level.

2 Days and Nights (Mon/Wed)

Schedule

  • Monday and Wednesday
  • 11:30am – 4:00pm and 5:30pm – 10:00pm
  • 18 hours/week
  • 4 Classes: Listening/Speaking, Grammar, Reading/Vocabulary and Writing
  • Students complete 1 level in 8 weeks

  • Tuesday and Thursday
  • 9:00am – 1:30pm and 5:30pm – 10:00pm
  • 18 hours/week
  • 5 Classes: Listening/Speaking, Grammar, Reading/Vocabulary, Writing and Elective (Levels 1-3)
  • 4 Classes: Listening/Speaking, Grammar, Reading/Vocabulary and Writing (Level 4-7)
  • Students complete 1 level in 8 weeks

International Student Visa

English for Internationals is accredited and authorized under Federal law to enroll nonimmigrant alien students! Follow these steps if you are interested in studying at English for Internationals on a Student Visa (F-1).

Step 1. Contact the PDSO to request a Certificate of Eligibility.

  • Karen Hills (PDSO)
  • Andrea Vaca (In MEXICO)
  • Vanrajsinh Chavda (In INDIA)
  • Koray Okceci (In TURKEY)
  • Numan Ozdemir (TURKISH)

Step 2. Send the following documents to the Student Director:

  • Certificate of Eligibility
  • Copy of your passport
  • Financial support records for the previous 60 days
  • Application fee of $350. This includes the I-901 fee ($200). The fee can be paid by check, cash or credit card.

Step 3. English for Internationals will complete the I-20 and send it to your home via express mail. A tracking number will be provided.

Step 4. When you receive the I-20 from English for Internationals you should make an interview appointment at the US Embassy.

Step 5. Send an email to the PDSO at English for Internationals to confirm your attendance.

Please note students are responsible for the full cost of the program as well as responsible for providing their own housing.
