DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Designed specifically for International students, the International Access to University programme is an academic preparation programme for undergraduate entry in eight generic subject areas:

Art and Design, Business Studies, Computing, Humanities, Media, Music, Performing Arts and Science.

  • Venue: Lansdowne campus, Bournemouth – Business Studies, Humanities and Science
  • Venue: North Road, Poole – Art and Design, Computing, Media, Music and Performing Arts
  • Duration: One year, full time
  • Start date: September

Introduction

The main purpose of this programme is to enable you to gain direct progression to the first year of an undergraduate programme at a UK university. Graduates from The Bournemouth and Poole College have been successful in gaining entry to many leading UK universities, including those listed (left).

Entry requirements

The course is designed for students of 17 years plus from non-EU/EEA countries who have completed high school matriculation in their own country. You will need to have UKVI IELTS 5.0 and will be offered English Language and study support alongside your main programme.

Course structure

The course is structured over an academic year and will include subject-specific content combined with core subjects and other modules.

The Bournemouth and Poole College offers excellent resources and highly skilled staff to ensure that you are successful in your studies. The teaching methods employed will be a mix of classroom-based activities, supported self-study and blended learning, and will include tutorial support.

Scholarships of more than 50% are available on this programme for applications by students from:
