Malaca Instituto is an award-winning language school in Málaga in the south of Spain. Founded in 1971, the school has more than 45 years of experience and is therefore widely recognized as one of the leading language schools in Spain. We are one of the only 10 language schools worldwide to have achieved Super Star status by winning 5 times the Study Abroad Industry Star Award. Moreover, all our teachers are native speakers of Spanish, have a University degree or comparable experience and have been with us for a long time which means they are highly experienced in our effective way of teaching Spanish: all our full-time teachers have been with us for more than 20 years! Every student takes a level test on their first day. This makes sure that everybody is placed in a class at the exact right level. This will benefit the individual’s learning process and ensures the biggest growth possible.
Learning Spanish at Malaca Instituto doesn’t only mean studying but also having fun! Other than making lifelong friendships with people from all across the world, you can participate in everyday activities. Our splendid activities team will immediately make you feel at home and will introduce you with great enthusiasm to Málaga and Andalucía, our history, culture, and customs. All our students can take advantage of dance classes, tapas tours, cultural talks and excursion to for example Granada, Sevilla or Cordoba, amongst other activities.
Students (from 16 years upwards) can start on every Monday throughout the year except for total beginners who can start generally every 2 weeks. You can book a course for 1 week, up to a period of around an academic year.
Intensive 20 Spanish Course
Our General Spanish Course is the perfect course for someone wanting to combine holidays with language learning. The course consists of 4 lessons per day and is offered at all levels from total beginner to advanced. Each day, a new area of language is introduced and practiced. We work with traditional teaching methods, as well as classroom activities such as language games, pair work and role-plays. The courses are given in groups with a maximum of 10 students to create the most effective environment for active participation.
Intensive 24, 26 or 30 Spanish Course
Students who want to have a slightly more intensive course can choose to add oral communication lessons to their program. They will have 20 hours a week of General Spanish and 4 or 6 lessons per week of ‘Dímelo’ conversation classes to improve their spoken skills. These classes are offered in “mini-groups” with a maximum of 6 students per class.
