STUDY SPANISH AT UAG
Consider Guadalajara as your next destination for studying Spanish! Located in Western Mexico, Guadalajara offers the exquisite splendor of a city that is traditional and modern at the same time. It has one of the best climates in the world, and is near the beautiful beaches of Puerto Vallarta, Manzanillo, and Melaque.
UNIVERSIDAD AUTÓNOMA DE GUADALAJARA (UAG), the oldest private university in Mexico, has strived for academic excellence for more than 80 years. Its name has become synonymous with educational prestige and is well-known around the world. UAG has especially achieved important recognition in Latin America.
THE INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE CENTER (ILC) at UAG offers its students the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally by means of learning a foreign language. Therefore, students reaffirm their values through interactions and class discussions, as well as by analyzing the culture of the country whose language is being learned.
Furthermore, students develop linguistic skills that allow them to communicate effectively in a foreign language in a personal, academic, and professional context; all which can increase the level of understanding and respect towards other people and cultures.
The ILC is a service center, open to the general community that serves both UAG students and external national and interantional students.
