Program Description

The Institute for Global Student Success (IGSS) gives you the proven tools, techniques, contacts and year-round personalized one-to-one mentoring to ensure you succeed.

The full-year program consists of:

  • 4-Day Intensive in New York City, August 22-25 and
  • Personalized mentoring September of 2015 through May of 2016

The Intensive:

Stage 1: August 22 and 23:

Utilizing proprietary experiential learning techniques, you will:

  1. Position Yourself as a Unique Candidate Companies Seek
  2. Network Effectively with Influencers
  3. Compose Cover Letters and e-Mails that get a YES
  4. Write a Resume that Rocks
  5. Develop and Perfect Interviewing Strategies that Get you HIRED

Stage 2: August 24 and 25:

Meet American Executives and Get their Advice About Careers and Companies

Participate in three of the five following career workshops:

  1. Consulting
  2. Finance and Accounting
  3. Entrepreneurship
  4. Marketing
  5. Technology, Engineering and Information Services

Executives from companies like these will be participating:

  • JPMorgan Chase
  • Mindshare Analytics
  • E-Bay
  • Goldman Sachs
  • Johnson & Johnson
  • McKinsey
  • PWC
  • EY
  • Verizon

Visit the offices of two leading companies

September 2015 through May 2016 – Personalized one-on-one mentoring every month with faculty and executives from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, New York University, EY, etc. You get your own personal mentor who provides support, contacts and helps you develop your personalized plan for success.
