Academic Skills

Our Academic Skills classes help students gain confidence in each of the four skills; Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking.

Many of our students go on to higher education in the UK or need to use English at work. The Academic Skills classes will help you prepare for university study and your future career, as well as helping to raise your general English level.

Lessons each week are based on a particular topic, and each day you will focus on developing a different skill. You will read and listen to real-life texts, practise writing and speaking skills in different communicative contexts, and improve your critical thinking and study skills.
