Bar-Ilan University is home to many leading scholars and practitioners in the field of conflict resolution. This four-week interdisciplinary summer program, taught in English, offers four graduate-level courses that focus on relevant identity-based conflicts and how to creatively engage them. Courses can also be taken individually. Students from all disciplines in the social sciences and the humanities (including conflict resolution practitioners) learn theoretical insights and practical training that have a wide range of professional relevance.
Launched in the year 2000, the Conflict Management, Resolution and Negotiation Graduate Program, which oversees this Summer Program, is characterized by a distinguished faculty body that merges theory and practice. Its students come from all walks of Israeli Jewish, Muslim and Christian society. It sponsors research, training programs, and international conferences, as well as operates a Mediation Center. The program also publishes the International Journal of Conflict Engagement and Resolution.

The Program will take place between July 13th – August 6th, 2020.
- Guest Lectures
Upon completion of the program, students will receive a certificate issued by the Program. An official university transcript – for transfer and recognition of graduate credits – can be issued upon request.

For excelling students arriving from China or India, a unique scholarship from the Israeli Council of Higher Education is available for the first 25 applicants admitted to the program ($870), covering the majority of the program’s cost. Starting from the 26th student, the scholarship will be $2300. The price for all other applicants will also be $2300. Applicants that will sign up through ONWARDS are eligible for a $1200 scholarship. The only payment requested from eligible participants from China or India is the registration fee of US$950.
