Graduate Pathway in Applied Statistics

Program Description

A Pathway program provides academic, language and cultural support in order to succeed at a US university. Students are guaranteed progression to a graduate degree program after completion of a Pathway program. We provide full integration with domestic and international students on campus from highly trained university instructors and tutors while giving you academic support throughout your program. The degree will help students advance their career by teaching them how to apply statistical procedures to industries such as high-tech, medical and pharmaceutical, and others.

1- and 2-Semester:

  • 31 credit hour degree program
  • 2 credit hours apply from Pathway
  • 29 credit hours remaining toward a degree

  • Award: The INTO CSU Graduate Pathway program in Applied Statistics is designed to help students prepare to study in the master of applied statistics (MAS) degree program.

Entry requirements

1-Semester Pathway

  • Academic requirements: Undergraduate degree. Linear Algebra OR Calculus III or equivalent. Upper-level statistics course. 2.75 GPA in math and technical courses.
  • English language requirements: TOEFL iBT 86, IELTS 6.5, PTEA 58, Password 7, Completion of Academic English Level 3 with a minimum of 85% in all graded courses, or IELA 176.
  • Age requirements: 16 years and above.

2-Semester Pathway

  • Academic requirements: Undergraduate degree. Calculus II or equivalent. 2.75 GPA in math and technical courses.
  • English language requirements: TOEFL iBT 76, IELTS 6.0, PTEA 51, Password 6.5, Completion of Academic English Level 3 with a minimum of 75% in all graded courses, or IELA 169.
  • Age requirements: 16 years and above.
