The Graduate Global Student Success Program (GSSP) is a two-semester program designed for students who have completed a bachelor’s degree but need additional academic support to gain entry to University of New Hampshire's graduate degree programs in engineering and computer science.

Entry to Year 2 of Master’s Degree in:

Master of Engineering:

  • Chemical Engineering
  • Civil Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering

Master of Science

  • Computer Science

Degree program components:

Up to 33 credits, hours less 9 credit hours applied from the Graduate GSSP = 24 credit hours to complete the degree

Program information

Entrance requirements:

  • Relevant undergraduate engineering degree 2.70+ GPA
  • TOEFL 70+ / IELTS 6.0 (no band lower than 5.5)

Progression requirements

  • B average (3.0 GPA) with no single grade below B-
  • No GRE is required for entry or progression
  • Graduate GSSP credit hours applied to degrees: 9

Total credits required for the below degrees:

  • Chemical Engineering (30 credit hours)
  • Civil Engineering (30 credit hours)
  • Electrical Engineering (30 credit hours)
  • Mechanical Engineering (32 credit hours)
  • Computer Science (30-33 credit hours)
