The Certificate of Advanced Study in Management offers you a unique opportunity to advance your professional skills while earning graduate level certification and credits. The program allows you to tailor a course of study that best meets your specific needs.
By providing exposure to the latest business thinking and practice, the program offers professionals the opportunity to update and sharpen skills from a general management perspective or within a specific discipline.
Because of the program’s flexibility and the ability to customize, you may create a course of study that best meets your specific needs. You may pursue a general course of study across disciplines or specialize in area such as, but not limited to: Corporate Finance, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Accounting, Corporate Renewal, Investments, Marketing, and International Business.
The program completing four courses over a one- to three-year period selected from regularly scheduled courses within the College’s MBA program.

- You may begin the Graduate Certificate of Advanced Study in the fall, spring, or summer semester.
- Courses are offered on the main Boston campus and at the downtown campus in the financial district. Most courses meet in the evening; some courses meet on Saturdays.
- To earn the certificate, you must complete four graduate business courses (for a total of 12 credits) and maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.00.
- Graduate credit earned through this program may be applied towards graduate degree programs within the College of Business.
The program is available to qualified candidates who have already earned a bachelors degree, but who may or may not already hold an advanced degree.
