Objectives & programme

The combined programme allows participants to improve their French skills in groups corresponding to their level while also benefiting from one-to-one tuition. The course offers a more tailored approach that allows students to improve their skills through interaction as part of a group while focusing on individual goals with a private tutor.

24 language lessons per week:

  • 18 group lessons corresponding to the student’s level
  • 6 one-to-one lessons
  • Participants who have fulfilled attendance requirements will receive a certificate at the end of their course, signed by CAVILAM – Alliance française and Blaise Pascal University in Clermont-Ferrand, along with a detailed skills evaluation

A readily available range of free resources:

  • University media library (computer, video and DVD resources)
  • Self-study centre for language work using special software
  • Wi-Fi coverage across the campus

one week, quarter, half year or full year

Admissions:

year-round

Courses start every Monday at all levels, except for complete beginners.

There will be no lessons on the following public holidays in 2015: 1 January – 6 April – 1 May– 8 May – 14 May– 25 May– 14 July– 11 November– 25 December.
