A Foundation Degree is a two-year stand-alone qualification in its own right. After completing this you can go to the final year of degree as well or complete a Top-up and gain a degree. This qualification is equivalent to two-thirds of a Bachelor’s degree, and a Higher National Diploma (HND): Level 4 and 5. A Top-up Degree will then provide you with a Level 6 Qualification.

How are student assessed on a Foundation Year?
Students will be assessed through a range of channels, either written work, exams, projects, assignments, group work, presentations and practical elements depending on the subject itself.

You should have a minimum of one GCE A2-level pass (or equivalent), including any subject and five GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent), including English.
If English is not your first language you will need to complete a Secure English Language Test at IELTS 5.5 or equivalent. You may be required to attend an interview and/or provide a portfolio of work.

Many students prefer to take a Business Management Degree, as it allows you to explore many different areas of Business. Through successful completion of this degree, you can progress in your career with a range of opportunities in management or develop your own business ambitions. Students with non-traditional qualifications but relevant experience or a suitable portfolio of work which is deemed a reasonable substitute for the entry qualifications may be made an offer.
Normally, two or more years of work experience at a managerial/supervisory/admin level relevant to the programme applied for. This must be evidenced via a personal statement, work experience form and successful interview, and supported by employment reference(s) indicating the duration of employment and the role
These are our standard entry requirements, but we may consider lowering these for students that perform well in the interview.
You will also be asked to attend an academic interview. Suitability for entry to our programmes can be demonstrated in several ways and is not limited to academic qualifications alone. Applicants who do not meet our published entry requirements are encouraged to contact our recruitment and admissions team for advice.
How will the course be delivered?
For the September intake, the course will initially be delivered digitally via Regent Digital. The delivery of the course will then move to our campuses in London for the traditional engagement, subject to the viability of groups and future guidance on social distancing. Regent College London cannot guarantee campus choice.
Students will also be given the option of blended learning, where they will attend digital classes for one day and attend classes at campus for traditional engagement for one day, subject to the viability of groups and future guidance on social distancing.
If there are not enough students enrolled at a particular campus, the course will be delivered digitally via Regent Digital with the teaching happening at another location, but streamed at the campus.
