If jewelry is the physical representation of these symbols, then the pieces one chooses to wear reflect one’s individual values. The capacity to recognize symbols and transform them into a concrete aesthetic form is crucial for the jewelry designer.
The semester course in Fashion Jewelry is aimed at raising the student’s awareness of jewelery through a thorough study of both historical and theoretical perspective, and the practical aspect of the industry. Throughout an in-dept research, stylistic and trends awareness, materials and goldsmith techniques knowledge, partecipants will come to develop their own collection and present a final book.
