Course: Executive English

A comprehensive course which focuses on Business English and American corporate culture. You will learn financial and banking terms, write reports and practice your business negotiations and presentations skills.
In addition to the group classes you will receive 5 private lessons where you can focus on your specific professional language needs. The private lessons can be scheduled at your convenience during school hours. Each private class is 50 minutes.
In addition to the group training, you will receive 10 private lessons. Classes are Monday through Friday. You will practice your English by means of simulated business situations and role-play. Specific training is given in developing presentation and negotiating skills.
Courses are offered for a minimum of one week and there are weekly starting dates throughout the year. The maximum number of students in each executive class is 5. All executive courses have a minimum age requirement of 21 years.
Executives are welcome to receive messages via the Academy fax or e-mail and messages may be sent "at cost."
Cost & Fees
EXECUTIVE ENGLISH: 20 Lessons - 17 clock hours; 900/week
EXECUTIVE PLUS: 20 Group Lessons + 5; 1,300/week
SUPER EXECUTIVE: 20 Group Lessons + 10; 1,700/week
CORPORATE VISIT: 3 - 4 hours including travel time; $125/each, 1 for each 2-week course period
Executive Programs start on the First and Third Monday of each month. Executive classes have a maximum of 5 students.
Level Requirement: Upper Intermediate C1. Students who don't meet the level requirement may be assigned to a General English Course, at TLA's discretion. TLA reserves the right to cancel the course by giving a 2-week notice, with all monies refunded, or to replace group classes with one-to-one lessons (ratio 4:1). Executive Group classes may be combined with ESP one-to-one lessons: English for Tourism, Law, Marketing, Trade, Finance, IT, Energy industry and Aviation.
