Most people learn about running a small business the hard way, over the course of a long period of time. In the Entrepreneur/Small Business Management Program, the goal is to shorten the learning curve for the student by offering relevant courses that help them reach their potential as aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners.

The following is a general course of study for students pursuing an Associate of Science Degree in the area of Entrepreneurship/Small Business Management. Due to specific requirements for transfer to four-year institutions, each student's best interests will be served through proper advising/counseling.

Students can in the program three ways. ICC offers both an Associate of Science Degree, suitable for transfer to a four-year college or university, and an Associate of Applied Science, designed as a terminal degree geared for practical use and application. A third option includes a shorter Entrepreneurship/Small Business Management Certificate Program.

Additional program electives offer a wide base of interest and courses including: Internship, Business Statistics, Ethics in Leadership, Introduction to Entrepreneurship, Planning the Entrepreneurial Venture, Operations Management for Small Business, Small Business Web, Principles in Marketing, Introduction to Electronic Commerce, Retailing, and Introduction to Small Business Accounting and Finance.
