Our English for Work course is ideal for people who need to use English at work or in a business context. We recommend it for people who work in an English environment and for those who are seeking an international career.

In the morning, students take part in a General English course; thereafter in the afternoon, students participate in English for Work. An intermediate level or above is required for this group course.

For German citizens only: this course is registered for Bildungsurlaub in Saarland, Schleswig-Holstein, Berlin, Brandenburg, Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Rheinland-Pfalz, Sachsen-Anhalt and Hessen.

Morning lessons

In the morning, you take part in either GE16 or GE20.

Afternoon lessons

This course must be combined with morning lessons. This can be either a group course (GE16 or GE20) or private lessons.

The course takes place in the afternoon in mini groups of maximum 6 students to ensure focussed attention to students' needs.

The afternoon lessons focus on the language and skills needed in the workplace. The teacher will assess how you need to use English at work and decide on a syllabus.

  • Social English

Topics may include:

  • Customer service
  • International marketing
  • Team building
  • Finance
  • Working across cultures
  • Change management
  • International communication
