Minor English Language studies are designed for those, who are willing to enter the Bachelor's study program at Mykolas Romeris University but do not have sufficient knowledge of the English language necessary for studying in a foreign language.
During the first study year students, who enter a major Bachelor's study program together with minor English language studies, will focus on language studies only. Upon completion of one year of Minor English Language studies and reaching sufficient English language proficiency level international students will continue studies on their selected Major.
The purpose of the program is to train specialists who have general philological knowledge about the structure and functioning of English and the culture of the country of the study language, who are able to communicate in English in the work environment and can ensure smooth intercultural communication in the institutions which cooperate with foreign partners.
The program comprises the study of field subjects such as general English (Modern English) and culture studies (Great Britain and the USA Country Studies). Students will deepen their knowledge of phonetics, grammar, language in use, develop their language skills, including reading skills, written and oral communication skills, and intercultural communication competency.

Pay the non-refundable application fee of 100 euros
Receive your application evaluation results
Confirm your acceptance by paying the first-year tuition fee
Sign the study contract and receive your admission letter
Start visa application procedure
Register to studies
Secondary education diploma or equivalent including final grades
Document proving English language level
Additional educational documents might be required depending on the country of residence.
Applicants might be required to take an entrance examination.
English Language Requirements
Required level – A2 (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
If you do not have a certificate proving your English language proficiency level, you can take the University Online English language level test. You will be able to choose this option while filling in the application. The test is free of charge.
