ENGLISH LITERATURE & CREATIVE WRITING

English Literature & Creative Writing introduces students to a diverse range of literary styles and techniques, to develop their literary knowledge, creative writing skills and ability to form critical response. During the course students discuss famous literary works, both classic and modern, including works of fiction, poetry and play. The Creative Writing aspect of the course enables students to develop their own writing techniques and ideas, drawing inspiration from both the texts studied and from the wealth of British literary history available to our students whilst studying in the UK. Also included is the exciting opportunity to participate in creative workshops, as well as see theatre productions of some of the literary texts studied.
