English Language Courses Specific to Hospitality and Tourism Industry

We have taken into consideration of the important nature of hospitality and tourism within the context of Thailand and have developed English Language Courses that are tailored for students and working professionals who would like to build their careers within the sector. As such, the Courses will focus on the usage of English Languages as relevant to the working environments in hotels, restaurants, resorts, travel agencies and tour companies.

The Courses are available on both a full-time and a part-time basis. The full-time mode is suitable for school leavers. The part-time mode is meant for people who are already employed. We offer the Courses at two levels:

  • Level 1 Course in English for Hospitality and Tourism Industry
  • Level 2 Course in English for Hospitality and Tourism Industry

Entry requirements

Although there are no formal entry requirements, we ensure that all students sit for a placement test at the beginning. This will enable us to determine the standard of proficiency of the students before admitting them on to the appropriate level. Those who have previously passed a recognised English Language Test such as IELTS or TOEFL will be exempted from the requirement to sit for the placement test as per the discretion of the School.

The Certifications

At the end of the each level, the students will sit for the examination of the Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality (CTH), UK (www.cthawards.com). Therefore, upon passing of the examination at each level, students will be awarded an internationally recognised Certificataion by the Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality (CTH), UK.

Academic Progression

The English Language Courses for Hospitality and Tourism serve as a platform for progression on to higher level programmers within the field. We will guide students to enrol onto our Courses in Hospitality and/or Tourism, which would eventually lead towards achieving a degree level qualification from an internationally recognised University.

Career Progression

The successful completion of the industry specific English Language Courses provides a gateway for any jobs within the hospitality and tourism sector. Part-time students who are already employed would become equipped with additional knowledge and skills in terms of the usuage of the English Language in their work practices, apart from getting the opportunity to pursue further studies within the field.
