Introduction
An assembly line is shut down and all production at the plant is suspended. A power failure occurs and everyone is left in the dark. The temperature in an oven is too high and the cookies burn. The pH measurement of a liquid is not good and an alarm is triggered unnecessarily.
These are examples where the industrial electronics technician is used to find the cause of the malfunction or failure. Using specialized instruments, he performs various measurements, then interprets them in relation to the process normally in operation and also in relation to the problems observed. He makes diagnoses and intervenes in a precise manner.
He installs, cables, maintains, troubleshoots, modifies, and commissioning the electrical, electronic, computer, and electromechanical components required for industrial automation, and he also participates in their design.
