Introduction
Course content
The areas below are included into the student's research area and are assignment based areas to cover the research topic of the student. Each area requires a mini thesis of 8,000 words and each study area must have a bearing on the topic of the dissertation of the DBM program.

DEM7001 Operations management: Producing Goods and Services
DEM7002 Research Methodology: Data collection and Related Numerical Analysis
DEM7003 Research Methods
DEM7004 Statistical Probability and Related Analysis
DEM7005 Quality Planning and Analysis
Dissertation - 90,000 words

Entry requirements
Age: 25 +
For learners who have recently been in education or training the entry profile is likely to include:
- Masters degree in Business, Commerce and Management or related subjects or a level 7 qualification in Business, Management or related subjects for example a Post Graduate Diploma in Management
- other equivalent international qualifications.
Learners must also have an appropriate standard of English to enable them to access relevant resources and complete the unit assignments.
Learners may also have relevant work experience.
Mature learners may present a more varied profile of achievement that is likely to include extensive relevant work experience (paid and/or unpaid) with levels of responsibility, participation and/or achievement of a range of relevant professional qualifications. This may be used for recognition of prior learning (RPL).
