A diploma is one way that students can further their education. The various diplomas available include graduate, postgraduate, and advanced diplomas. They can provide additional qualifications and training for professionals or help bridge the gap between different academic stages. A diploma can be earned in a number of subjects such as business, humanities, biology, technology, and more.

What is a Diploma in Pastry? This program is designed for current professionals who want to learn classic French techniques, for someone who wants to start a career working in a professional kitchen, or just for fun. Every program will vary, but the course often will cover basic, intermediate and superior baking techniques. Most programs do not require students to have previous culinary experience. Students will learn how to prepare a wide selection of cakes that are fit to be served in tearooms, restaurants, and patisserie shops. They will also learn how to prepare contemporary French desserts and explore advanced techniques in sugar work and chocolate.
