Mosaic Fabrication: Techniques and ApplicationIntroduction to tools, techniques and materials; studying surfaces and substrates; Term 1 Roman Mosaics working with hammer and hardie using marble; Term 2 Byzantine Mosaic working with hammer and hardie using smalti; working with other standard mosaic materials and nippers; Term 3 Individual project, making frames, documenting and marketing work (60 credits)
