Level 6 students can then specialise in accounting, marketing, finance, tourism, public relations or strategic management. Success in these specialisations allows students to cross- credit straight into one of the three University of Waikato business degrees that are offered in Tauranga – local residents who want to do these degrees have to complete the NZDipBus first. If you want to succeed in the corporate world, this is the place for you! Content The NZDipBus comprises 12 papers including six compulsory. Papers are offered on a semester basis, i.e. February to June, and July to November, and summer schools are from January to February, and November to December. Chartered Accountant To become a chartered accountant you can complete the NZDipBus and then the BMS or BBA(Fin) majoring in Accounting. On completion of the academic study required for admission, you are required to register as a professional member of NZICA and complete the required work experience.
