Introduction
Who is the course for?
This qualification is intended for students to improve their skills and a broad knowledge in leadership and management. This course may lead to roles such as business manager, Human Resources Manager or Sales Team Manager.
Assessment Summary
Assessment is completed on a unit-by-unit basis using a range of assessment methods. Assessment methods will cover written questions, scenarios, projects, observations, and presentations.
Students will also be required to complete assessment tasks in their own time.
Learning Outcomes
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply knowledge, practical skills and experience in leadership and management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. Individuals at this level display initiative and judgment in planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others. They use communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organizational or enterprise requirements. This course may lead to roles such as Senior Manager (Public Sector), Business Development Manager, Operations Manager, Business Manager and etc.
Delivery Mode
For each unit, students will be required to attend face to face classes, and complete self-paced activities and assessment tasks
Pathways
Learners who have successfully completed this qualification may be eligible to apply for credit transfer into another related Diploma qualification or an Advanced Diploma.
Timetable
Day Timetables will consist of 4 sessions delivered in 2 days + self-directed learning:
Day 1
(Session 1) 9:00AM – 1:00PM
(Session 2) 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Day 2
(Session 1) 9:00AM – 1:00PM
(Session 2) 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM
*Please note that the timetable is subject to change. FOCUS reserves the right to make adjustments to the timetable of all its classes to best suit the academic requirements of the programs. Each VET batch in a course has been allocated with space for 16 hours per week. The 4-hour self-directed learning may take place on campus or off campus. Students may use the computer lab space or classroom space based on availability.
