This course is designed to provide a wide range of knowledge and skills over a broad range of computing and information technology areas, especially in networking, ICT support, database development, programming, IT project management, web development and systems analysis.
Learn crucial elements of the information technology industry. You'll use all the latest industry hardware and software, as well as have the opportunity to specialise in your chosen field of network security, software development or information systems through higher education.
The course offers key industry certification training, including CISCO CCNA (CISCO Certified Network Associate), as well as MTA (Microsoft Technology Associate).
Classes are hands-on and practical. Our teachers focus on your progress throughout the course, providing quality personal attention to ensure that you are industry ready for graduation.
The delivery of this course is classroom-based, with the delivery of some components online.
Pathways to Higher Education
This is a pathway program. On successful completion of this qualification, you may be eligible to enter directly into the second year of the Bachelor of Information Technology.
International Students Entrance Requirements
Academic: Australian Year 12 equivalency or higher. English Language: Academic IELTS 5.5 overall or recognised equivalency.
Full-time: 1 year
Four days (9am-5pm) per week.
International students: typical course duration comprises 34 weeks tuition and up to 18 weeks holiday breaks.
