GPA and credit system

International Students will be eligible for admission into their University of Adelaide and University of South Australia bachelor degree program, providing they have:

  • Completed and passed all diploma courses; and
  • Achieved an overall grade-point average (GPA) or average percentage mark

To proceed to the University of South Australia via an Eynesbury Diploma of Engineering, a minimum GPA of 4.0 is required.

To proceed to the University of Adelaide via an Eynesbury Diploma of Engineering, a 55% minimum mark is required.

Australian students must apply through SATAC for entry to the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia. Students who gain entry will be granted credit as specified above.

Q. What overall grade will I need to advance to my chosen Bachelor Degree at the University of Adelaide?

A : On successful completion of all eight courses with an average mark of at least 55%, you will be eligible for admission to one of the Bachelor degrees as indicated above. The amount of credit you will be granted varies depending on the degree you choose.

Q. How do I choose the correct courses for my Diploma?

A : You will choose eight courses from those identified above. The choice of the eight courses is determined by the undergraduate degree that you chose to study. Eynesbury Academic staff will advise you the most appropriate choice of courses prior to enrolment.

Course FAQ - Local (Domestic) Students

Q: As a local student, who should apply?

A: Students who have:

  • Satisfactorily completed Year 12 with a minimum ATAR score of 60 (Including bonus points)
  • International Baccalaureate (IB)
  • Completed all 8 courses in the Certificate IV in Tertiary Preparation Program
  • Completed or partially completed a Vocational Education Training (VET) Diploma or Higher Education Qualification
  • Completed a VET Certificate IV qualification, or
  • Relevant work experience
