The Diploma of Accounting provides you with the critical skills and knowledge required on the pathway to being a registered tax agent and an assistant accountant.
This course also provides an alternate pathway to the Bachelor of Accounting for students who have not completed secondary schooling in Australia.

Our experienced teachers are Certified Practising Accountants (CPAs) and our guest lecturers hail from the Institute of Practising Accountants (IPA) and the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB).
Our courses are developed under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), in close consultation with industry and professional associations.
This program will give you some of the educational units required by the Tax Practitioners board to permit registration as a Tax Agent.
Satisfactory completion of the Diploma of Accounting entitles you to join the IPA, one of the three peak accounting bodies representing accountants in Australia.
You will be qualified to work in the following areas:
- office manager
- assistant to an accountant
- preparing financial statements
- managing small teams
- developing business plans
- preparing management accounting reports
We use various forms of assessment, including classroom testing, assignments, presentations, group work, and case studies. A total of 10 core units and three elective units must be completed successfully to attain this qualification.
