TasTAFE is one of the largest vocational training institutes in Australia and is owned and operated by the Tasmanian State Government. TasTAFE provides high quality, nationally accredited training, delivered by greatly experienced teachers.
Our Cookery pathway offers a combination of theoretical and practical training, in a fully operational commercial kitchen. We teach diverse skills in Hospitality and Cookery Management. Advanced units include: finance, sustainability and managing human resources. Our course focuses on a simulated workplace experience including 290 hours of work placement.
Your industry recognised skills and qualification will encourage a successful hospitality career, including options: Executive Chef, Restaurant Owner/ Manager.
