Program Description

objective

Apply the tools and the fundamentals of industrial automation to industrial processes, using programmable logic controllers (PLC's) and industrial networks as a communication element between industrial control elements and field devices.

Benefits of the program

  • You will obtain minimum knowledge required to select, install and implement a specific automation design.
  • You will acquire the minimum skills necessary to handle the tools used in the area of industrial automation, in particular, industrial communication technologies such as the AS-i, PROFIBUS and Ethernet field buses.
  • You will increase the profits of your company by means of the reduction of costs for maintenance, installation and improvements of the operation of the system, and the modernization of the productive plant.
  • You will practice what you have learned in the laboratory, doing industrial cutting problems.
