Enroll in the Addictions & Community Services Worker program at Reeves College and learn a range of skills to assist those living with drug, gambling, and alcohol issues; mental health problems; family violence; and more. You’ll gain an understanding of key topics related to the addictions field, including psychology, pharmacology, communications, ethics, and case management. In addition, you will develop a fundamental knowledge of addiction, intake procedures, treatment planning, relapse prevention and intervention. You will also learn about working with a range of clients, including families, high-risk populations, and youth.
