There are often many reasons for returning to study later in life; you could simply want to pursue a new interest or hobby or pick up where you left off at school. Whatever your reasons, we offer a wide variety of courses suitable for adult learning and be supported through your programme by our experienced and supportive staff.

Course Overview

This course is aimed at 16 to 18-year-olds wishing to pursue a career in accountancy, finance or business. You will be training to become a business professional and get into a competitive field with a qualification that sets you apart from other candidates.

You will study a range of topics from Computerised Accounts and Payroll to Processing Bookkeeping Transactions and Applied Business Communications and Personal Skills. To support you to succeed in your chosen field you will study to gain essential skills in English, Maths and ICT as well as benefit from having 1-2-1 tutorial and group tutorials.

Following successful completion of the Diploma you can choose to study further by moving on to the AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting or on to an apprenticeship. Successful learners can expect eligible for junior job roles such as Accounts Assistants, Accounts Receivable Assistant, Bookkeeping Assistant, Finance Assistant, Finance Administrator Accounts Clerk, Accounts Clerk and Payroll Clerk.
