Program Description

OBJECTIVES

The Hautes Etudes Cinematic Scenario aims to train professionals capable of meeting the expectations of the program industries on all issues that affect the writing of content. During their two years of training, students learn to scénariser any type of work or audiovisual genre, whether it is film (fiction and documentary), television or media in their various formats and content specific.

At the end of their studies, students are finalizing a 90-minute fiction scenario. This work is the subject of an educational follow throughout the year and gives rise to a defense.

In this work adds a dissertation on a topic related to the training received.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Enable students who wish to make writing the main focus of their work, whether fictional scenarios in live-action or animation, documentary or cartoon scenarios, gain the necessary competence to practice the profession of writer. Allow students who intend to filmmaking master the art of storytelling and the mechanisms of playwriting while having the skills to deal with the staging, the direction of actor and filmmaking in its technical components whether the cutting of the film shooting, editing or mixing in post-production. The skills acquired during the training allow students to apply for positions in the following areas:

  • Generalist and thematic channels of television (reader, literary direction)
  • Sofica. finance companies (player)
  • Production Companies

PUBLIC CONCERNED

The Hautes Etudes Cinematographic scenario is for level students +3. Applicants must demonstrate an interest in the professions of the audiovisual sector and in all forms of writing (cinema, theater, comics, romance, television, documentary, reportage).
