Curriculum

Northwood University’s IEP consists of six (6) levels. Each level takes one semester or one summer session to complete.

Pre-Elementary Elementary Intermediate Pre-Advanced Advanced Graduate (for graduate students only)

Students receive 20 hours of classroom instruction in fall and spring semesters, and 25 hours of instruction in the condensed summer semester. Students study in four skills: Speaking/Listening, Reading/Vocabulary, Writing, and Grammar. In addition, Northwood University offers language lab hours to provide tutoring and additional instruction in TOEFL Preparation or Rosetta Stone.
