Courses are academic classes taught by qualified instructors that are intended to enhance participant’s knowledge of a given area or training in a particular discipline. Courses vary broadly in terms of length, size, content and duration.
First and foremost, pilot training begins with a course known as Ground School, in which students will become familiar with different kinds of aircraft. Multi-engine flight techniques will also be covered in this course. Once the student understands logistics and basic principles of flying, he or she can continue on to more in-depth training.
