Managing and Commissioning for Performance - Advanced Professional Development [Level HE7] part time The Managing and Commissioning for Performance module is for managers and care professionals who are engaged in the commissioning process, either as a provider or as a commissioner. The module addresses how the management of systems, standards and risk can support the implementation of strategic change. It is closely linked to the Strategy, Marketing and Commissioning module. On this module you will be introduced to the principles of ‘performance management’. You will learn to carry out critical evaluations of frameworks for the specification, control and regulation of a specific service and develop constructive ways of using these frameworks to improve the governance and delivery of services. You will learn how to ensure that your plans, defined on the Strategy, Marketing and Commissioning module, are carried out in a way that meets their strategic purposes. Throughout the module you will use your service area as a case study for performance improvement. The course is flexible and designed to fit in with your home and working life.
