These are used to treat chronic illnesses and functional problems. Three courses are devoted to oriental medicine and bioenergetics. A fourth course teaches the use of energetic medicine by proposing a particular meaning to disease through human body symbolism. Program Highlights Besides your classroom sessions learning the theory and skills needed for hands-on work, you'll spend a significant amount of time in fish and wildlife laboratory work, and participate in numerous excursions into the field. In 3rd semester, you'll participate in a one-week fisheries field camp where you will be working in small boats, handling trap nets and live fish. During field excursions you will practice fisheries management skills and learn about the logistics involved in the design and implementation of field projects, including wading in moving water while wearing a backpack.
