The Academic Studies Program (A.S.P.) at the Cal Poly English Language Institute provides qualified international students the opportunity to enroll in credit classes at the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (CPP). In addition, the A.S.P. offers students a variety of classes and support services designed to enhance student success in these credit classes. Students may enter the program at different stages based on official transcripts and official English proficiency scores (iBT TOEFL, IELTS, and/or iTEP) submitted with the A.S.P. application.
