Best Part time Course Studies in Language Studies 2017/2018. In other words, the requirement to enroll in CEH is to have and advanced command of the language, whereas you only need to be an intermediate Spanish learner to be accepted in CLCE. If you want to study Spanish in Granada, the Hispanic Studies Course is aimed at students and professionals who wish to acquire a deeper knowledge of Spanish language and culture. This course offers a wide variety of subjects taught by specialists from the University of Granada. Students must already have a high command of Spanish to be able to follow these subjects (i.e. have passed level B2.1 (CLM - 6 Advanced)). For this reason, CLM always recommends students to take an Intensive Spanish Language Course (CILE) before beginning the Hispanic Studies Course. The CEH Course is taught in two periods - from October to December (Fall) and from February to May (Spring). Students can choose the first period, the second period or both (the Complete Hispanic Studies Course). Students in this course can choose four or five subjects offered by CLM for each period. One of these subjects may be a Modern Language Course offered by CLM. Depending on students' needs and the length of their stay in Granada, they can take some... [-]

Best Part time Course Studies in Language Studies 2017/2018. Located on the Atlantic Coast, Rabat is one of Morocco’s imperial cities as well as its political capital. Rabat exemplifies Morocco’s unique cultural blend of Arab, the indigenous Amazigh (Berber), and European influences. While downtown Rabat is home to the austere Parliament building and the King’s Palace, just a few blocks away is the old medina; a fortressed city with labarinth alleys, markets, shops, and restaurants. Further down the road is the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Kasbah of the Udayas and the Bou Regreg River, with some of the best views of Rabat and the neighboring city of Salé. Al-Maghrib is a language enthusiast's dream as Moroccans speak multiple languages-typically including Moroccan Arabic, Modern Standard Arabic, and French, as well as possibly an indigenous language (such as Tamazight, Tashleheit, or Tarifit), English, or Spanish. Famous for national dishes like couscous, tajine, and harira, Moroccan cuisine is nothing short of mouth-wateringly delicious. Despite the pervasiveness of Western influences, Amazigh and Arab identity continue to play a crucial role in Morocco’s traditional, yet, modern society. After achieving independence in 1956, Morocco became a constitutional monarchy and has been ruled by three successive Alaouite kings over the past 55+ years. Throughout his reign, the current king (Mohammed VI) has taken steps to reform the political, economic, and legal structures of Morocco. While the influence of the Arab Spring on this North African country is not as deep as elsewhere in the Arab... [-]

General ESL Program OHLA uses a skills-based curriculum, focused specifically on developing necessary linguistic skills in five major areas: Reading, writing, listening, speaking and grammar. We, at OHLA, know that the best way to develop these skills is to do it in a “natural” way, the same way we all learned our native languages. We believe that languages are not meant to be memorized, but rather to be used and practiced on a daily basis, in order to maintain continuity and master it in a lesser amount of time. To learn and master the English language, it is necessary not to view it as a step-by-step approach, but rather as a continuous and progressive process, where international students are continuously challenged accordingly as they go through their levels of language study. Languages are continuously learned and improved upon, the same way in which we are always learning and improving our native languages. The main reason for this is that languages are always evolving; just like everything else we see or experience in life. Click here to see our Program Proficiency Scale A proficiency scale is a set of descriptions of the language skills that you can expect to attain during your time at OHLA. Each level in the scale describes a stage in your development of competence. Entry Points Each level lasts 12 weeks and it is sub-divided in six 2-week-units called “blocks”. Students may commence their language studies at the beginning of any two-week block. For instance, if a... [-]
