Austin Community College's Intensive English Program (IEP) is currently accepting applications. Students can apply to the program, and if accepted, be issued a Form I-20 to apply for an F-1 student visa in their home country.
There are four levels of the Intensive English Program (IEP), held in eight-week sessions. There are two eight-week sessions each Fall and Spring semester, and one eight-week session in the Summer semester. Each session of the IEP costs $2,200 U.S. dollars.
Upon successful completion of the Intensive English Program, International students are eligible for admission to an academic program, once all other admissions requirements have been met.

The IEP offers two levels of English instruction: Intermediate and Advanced. Students attend class 4 hours daily in Listening/Speaking, Reading, Writing, and Grammar. Students also have access to the language lab for independent study and practice in the afternoon. Students are placed into their level of study based primarily on their most recent TOEFL test score. Some course assignments may vary based upon individual skill area scores. The TOEFL test is given to all new students during their first orientation week. The TOEFL PBT, TOEFL IBT and IELTS equivalents are listed below.
