A course is a higher education class open to students who have a minimum of a high school diploma. They are usually taught at universities or institutions where higher degrees are offered and come in many different formats, including short-term and study abroad options.
What are courses in film studies? These are classes that focus on the artistic and technical skills required to produce both long-form and short-form films. Some classes also cover the history of film and its impact on society, as opposed to the art of creating films. There are also specialized courses that focus on one aspect of film creation, such as screenwriting or acting for movies. Some courses may offer exciting options for internships to further practice and hone burgeoning skills.
Students enrolled in a course in film studies often learn several important skills, including set design, camera operation and teamwork. These can give them a solid foundation with which to enter the film industry and also benefit everyday life.
Courses in film studies are available worldwide and in many different formats. Some are study abroad, some are year-long, some are short-term. Because of this diversity of availability, costs for a program will vary greatly. Students should do thorough research before selecting a course.
The film industry has many different career paths, all of which can benefit from courses in film studies. A graduate with this course experience may find employment opportunities as a film critic, a director or a casting agent. Someone more interested in being in front of the camera than behind it could use this education to further their acting career, while a writer could develop specific skills and knowledge to become a screenwriter.
Film studies hold international appeal, and courses can be found at many institutions around the world. Search for your program below and contact directly the admission office of the school of your choice by filling in the lead form.

The Screenplay Itinerary (Cinema, Television and New Media) is a two-level syllabus - distributed over two academic years - specifically designed for the training of screenwriters.
Although the natural name of the script is cinematic, the truth is that it would be absurd to pretend that, in 2016, the Internet or television does not exist. And although it is true that both share a common basis with the grandfather of celluloid, so it is that they assume the appearance of new conditions, new opportunities and, therefore, require the scriptwriter a certain ability to adapt and mutate their work. Objectives of the Itinerary
The goal of Guion's Itinerary is for the student to acquire the technical and narrative tools of the scriptwriter, as well as a structured method to tackle projects more or less complex and a basic knowledge with which to defend themselves in the vast and emerging audiovisual market.... [-]

And how is storytelling in the digital age different from previous forms? ... [-]
