Students will hear from Condé Nast staff and other fashion media experts on a range of related subjects such as understanding the masthead, the editor’s role, conducting interviews and readership profiling. As well as examining the work of inspiring writers and editors and exploring the language of fashion, they will also find out how magazines operate, how to generate revenue from media content, and the key differences between print and digital formats. The course gives an insight into what goes on behind the scenes of a Condé Nast magazine and the skills required to build a successful career in fashion journalism.
