The course One Year Fashion It aims to offer a quick and practical training experience in the market of fashion. With a strong focus on projects, the course aims to present and deepen the knowledge necessary for product development and fashion collections - from design to production - promoting them in the market, through fashion images, using communication tools and marketing and adapting them to current business formats.
The course is formatted through rapid and intensive courses combined with several workshops aimed at contributing to the construction of a theoretical and practical knowledge of the operation in the fashion market through a complete overview. The result of the disciplines is put into practice in three major projects over a year course: a collection, a fashion communication plan and a fashion business management plan.

The course also provides space for the creation and execution of projects, the Farm IED Fashion Lab - a complete Fashion laboratory set up in partnership with Farm Rio brand - and a Tecidoteca with samples and fabrics offered by the textile industry Santa Constance.
Students and professionals from the fields of design, fashion, communication and related fields, as well as people with degrees in other fields who wish to migrate to the fashion market. The course also serves individuals with some experience in the industry, with no training in the area, interested in knowing the development processes of the fashion product, communication and fashion business strategies.

The One Year Fashion course aims to provide a complete picture of the graphic designer's practice in the field of fashion. Focusing on product design, communication and business, the course covers subjects and workshops related to various areas of Fashion. The aim is to form a relevant professional market, with refined look and design practice. The course is organized around five side projects and a final project. Every design disciplines are offered and workshops with content and tools necessary for its implementation.

The presentation to the labor market is key for successful entry and the perception of its strongest points as a professional. The portfolio is a valuable tool and should be constructed so as to highlight its potential within the area. This workshop is one of the last activities of the course, in order to guide how to present previous projects such as portfolio material for the student who graduates.
