What you will learn The foundation degree is based around three key areas – practical work skills, personal skills and industry-recognised certification. Practical work skills are developed around a broad understanding of all the techniques that make up live events production – from sound, lighting, staging, motors, trussing and live visuals to show control software and events management. Teaching is based around practical workshops, master classes and work on events and productions, all with the common aim of enabling you to make critical and professional judgements over the creative use of new and emerging technologies in this exciting industry. What you will study Level 1 (HE0) At Level 1 of the FdA Live Events Production you will study the following module: Introduction to Working in Live Events Production. Level 2 (HE4) At Level 2 you will study modules in: Concept Design and Presentation; Staging; Live Sound; Lighting; Live Visuals.
