About the course The English Pre Session Programme covers language and academic skills. You will develop your reading, writing, speaking and listening competence to a high level (IELTS 6.0/6.5 equivalent). Classes will also focus on understanding and using academic texts, writing university assignments, participating in lectures and seminars, and other key academic study skills. All classes are delivered by English for Academic Purposes lecturers. You will also be able to sit in on lectures in your chosen area of study to help prepare you for degree-level study.
