We have 6 levels of English from beginning to advanced to help our students meet their academic, personal, and business English goals. Students may start throughout the year, and entering students take a placement test to determine their level. Students study 5 hours per day, 5 days per week, for a total of 25 hours of English language training each week. Classes include grammar, writing, reading, listening, and speaking. The duration of each level is 7 weeks with new sessions starting every 8 weeks. What Makes Us Different Because of our small size and friendly environment, our students often say that they feel like ULI is like a family. We are a Christian school, but we welcome students from all faiths. We have chapel once a week which helps with listening skills, and we offer a field trip or special activity each session to help students learn about the culture and practice their English.
