With 70 hours of contact time with your native-speaker teachers, including all meals and breaks, you will be surrounded by the language from the early morning until the late evening. Intensive Course 35 hours of lesson activities, consisting of small group work, one-to-one lessons, pronunciation training, thematic debates, workshops and so on. Tailor-made and unique Over the years CERAN has developed its own methodology and teaching techniques, enabling teachers to approach the language in a much more student-centred manner than other methodologies. Accommodation Our clients stay in our state-of-the art and purpose-built residence on site. All single rooms are en-suite with private bath or shower, daily linen service, ADSL and WiFi, television and work space. For those clients requiring a little more space, we can also offer a small number of executive suites. Leisure On site, clients can make use of the tennis court, squash courts, basketball court and petanque. Those wishing to go for an early-morning run can ask for a map at reception. The overall aim of the European Projects English course is to improve significantly the quality of students’ written project proposals to meet the expectations of professional proficiency-level (C2) readers of English. This will be achieved by the development of appropriate knowledge, skills and techniques, which can be applied to advantage in various written assignments. The course has been designed for professionals who need to use English accurately and appropriately in order to communicate successfully with international project partners, write effective project proposals and submit official documents to the European Commission commensurate with the standards of the EU. The course will cover aspects of developing an appropriate formal style for both oral and written communications, expressing and linking ideas in writing, synthesising information to arrive at a persuasive and coherent written conclusion, and acquiring the specific EU project proposal vocabulary and formulae needed in order to submit a successful project. Students can also expect to improve their wider communication and presentation skills.
