The CEA is recognized by the United States Secretary of Education as a reliable authority on the quality of instruction and services provided by accredited English language programs and institutions. The programmatic self-study provided the opportunity to understand more fully and to improve our Intensive English Program. For more than two years, groups chosen from IEP and various units have studied the program and assessed in what ways the program satisfies the CEA accreditation criteria. The sub-standards’ responses were produced from the resulting conversations and data that were considered. The self-study report is based on these responses and other information about the university. [-]
