Saint-Petersburg State Polytechnical University on behalf of the Institute of Energy and Transport System presents its new International Energy Technologies Summer School. The Summer School aims at bringing a very broad range of Energy Technology’s aspects and giving a great cultural experience to participants. The School provides the opportunity to attend intensive academic programme which is composed of lectures in Turbomachinery, Combustion Technology, Kryo-Technology, Electrotechnology and Innovation Management in Industry conducted by experienced European technical university’s scientists. By the end of the School the knowledge is applied to the course Engineering of Thermal Power Plants. The excursion to a modern Power Plant is also included to the Summer School programme. All studies are developed according to the European requirements and can be recognized as a period abroad. Upon successful completion of the module students are awarded with 3.5 ECTS credits: - Combustion Technology – 0.5 ECTS - Kryo-Technology – 0.5 ECTS - Aeroacoustics/Aeroelastics – 0.5 ECTS - Electrotechnology – 0.5 ECTS - Innovation Management in Industry – 0.5 ECTS - Engineering of Thermal Power Plants – 1.0 ECTS Another bright side of the Summer School is a great number of cultural events and leisure activities organized and accompanied by the University’s team.
